1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using cellycharts.com (the "Service"), operated by Celly Charts ("we," "us," or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Celly Charts is a youth hockey rankings and statistics platform. We collect publicly available game data and use proprietary algorithms to generate team rankings, player statistics leaderboards, head-to-head comparisons, and interactive playoff brackets. The Service is intended for informational and entertainment purposes.

3. Data Accuracy

Rankings, statistics, and other data displayed on the Service are generated through automated collection from publicly available sources and processed by our algorithms. While we strive for accuracy:

• We do not guarantee that any data, ranking, or statistic is complete, accurate, or up-to-date.
• Rankings are generated by mathematical models and reflect algorithmic assessments, not official league standings.
• Errors may occur due to source data issues, processing delays, or algorithmic limitations.
• Data should not be used as the sole basis for any decisions regarding player development, team selection, or recruiting.

If you identify an error or inaccuracy, please contact us so we can investigate and correct it.

4. User Conduct

When using the Service, you agree not to:

• Use player data to harass, bully, intimidate, or target any player, parent, coach, or official. These are youth athletes and their wellbeing comes first.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Service without our written permission.
• Attempt to manipulate rankings, statistics, or any data displayed on the Service.
• Impersonate another person or falsely claim a player profile that is not yours or your child's.
• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable laws or regulations.
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, its servers, or networks connected to the Service.
• Reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our rankings, algorithms, or proprietary content without permission.

5. Profile Claiming (Future Feature)

We plan to offer a profile claiming feature that will allow players to verify ownership of their player profile. When this feature becomes available:

• Users aged 13 and older may claim their own player profile through email verification.
• For players under 13, a parent or legal guardian must create and manage the account in compliance with COPPA.
• Claiming a profile that does not belong to you or your child is a violation of these Terms and may result in account suspension.
• We reserve the right to revoke profile claims if we determine they are fraudulent or made in bad faith.

Additional terms specific to profile claiming will be provided when the feature launches.

6. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, layout, ranking algorithms, proprietary rating system, original content, and branding, is owned by Celly Charts and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not:

• Copy, modify, or distribute our ranking algorithms, rating calculations, or proprietary methodologies.
• Use the Celly Charts name, logo, or branding without our written permission.
• Frame or mirror any portion of the Service on another website or application.

Individual game statistics are sourced from publicly available records. Our rankings, comparisons, and analytical features represent our original work.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any data or rankings will be accurate or complete.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Celly Charts and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or goodwill arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service, including but not limited to damages arising from:

• Inaccurate or incomplete rankings or statistics
• Decisions made based on data displayed on the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Any interruption or cessation of the Service

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Celly Charts and its operators from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney fees) arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms. We encourage you to review these Terms periodically.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, all provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive will remain in effect.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Minnesota, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Service shall be resolved in the courts of the State of Minnesota.
